Haemochromatosis Tools
Hereditary haemochromatosis is a common inherited genetic condition where there is excessive iron absorption, which leads to increased body iron stores. The excess iron is stored in the liver, heart, pancreas and other organs. If left undiagnosed and not managed, the excess iron causes organ or tissue damage and may lead to early death.
